The Love Boat: Walkthrough and Tips

The Love Boat is a time management game in which you prepare food/products and serve customers.  This game contains an excellent tutorial at the beginning of the first level.  If you are an experienced player of the Delicious brand of games, you can skip it, but I advise players less familiar with the Delicious games to play it through.

As Carl the Mouse does not appear in a set location during a scene (he pops up in various places in each scene), I am not writing a full walkthrough for this game.  I am, however, giving tips on certain levels.

Achievement : Man Overboard

Find Ron a total of 50 times.  You will need to replay level 8 many times until you have caught Ronald a total of 50 times.

Level 2:
The task is to find the ingredients.  Click on the ingredient (circled below), then on the bowl on the counter to set down the ingredient.

Bonus 1
I found that the way to get Julie to walk enough steps is to click on the magazine restock rack, then on the cash register in between customers.

Pool Tip:
If you upgrade the bar, the grapefruit drink will not spill over.  If you upgrade the counter, the alligator will not pop.  You can make one in advance and leave it sitting on the machine.

Bonus 5
A good way to make Isaac move in between customers is to click on the coconut, the grapefruit, or the glass.  He will move there as if to prepare the drink, then you can click on something else to move him away.

Level 10:
The task is to keep the seagulls shooed away.  The seagull will always appear in the same location, but does not make a noise.  Keep your eye on that location as you play.  If the seagull does poop on Stacy, you will earn the "Something Smells Fishy" award.

Note: The timer bar for the seagull moves FAST, so you must click on it quickly.
Tip: You must click on the seagull; clicking on the exclamation point or the bar will not work.

Restuarant Tip:
If you upgrade the coffee machine, coffee will not spill over.  You can make one in advance and leave it sitting on the machine.

Level 11:
The task is to find all the magazines.  Three of them can be found in the scene.  The fourth will be in Brad's hands when he enters the restaurant.  Click on Brad before he leaves.  Sandy will come in, and they will both leave.

Bonus 6
Some customers come in with a red exclamation point over their heads.  These customers are impatient.  Their thought bubble will be blue and the color will run out of it over time.  You must serve these customers before the color runs out.

Level 15

The task isn't made clear for this one, but the point is to make cocktails for the Captain's table.  The cocktail shaker will get an exclamation point over it.  Click on it then, and Isaac will make the drink.

Bonus 9

The papaya and the flower are the items that will go bad on your tray.

Level 17

Men will come and ask for Jenny and Lorraine.  Click on them when they arrive.  You'll get credit for it after they finish the drink and the men leave.

Level 18:

An exclamation point will appear over the flyer, then an arrow will show you where to click for Isaac to place it.

Level 22:

When the exclamation point appears over Sandy's head, click on her.  Sparkling circles will appear; click on one for Sandy to search it.

Level 25:

Clean up by clicking on these six items.  First click on the item, then on the trash can.

Level 26:
Pick up the items and return them to their place.  When you click on the item, and arrow will show you were to take it.

Level 30:
Some patients will fall asleep.  You must wake them up before the blue runs out of their thought balloon.

Level 31:
Tip: The task is to NOT throw anything away.  If you put something on your tray that you don't need, just leave it there.  You will not lose the task if you still have something on your tray at the end of the level.

Bonus 16:
Tip: Don't panic if you miss a mouse; you do not actually have to catch them all as it says.  They will keep popping up until you either catch enough or the level ends.

Bonus 17:
Tip: If you need to make two of the same item, make something in between and then delete it.

Level 35:
Put out the fire by clicking the bucket, then the magazine.  The pieces will scatter.  Here are their locations:

Bonus 18:
The flu patients come in with a red exclamation point over their heads.  Their thought bubbles will be blue; you must serve them and cash them out before the blue drains out of the thought balloon.

Bonus 20:
The best way to keep Doc moving is to click on the cash register, then the restock box, then the cash register.  Once the day gets moving, you won't have to worry about him standing still, though.

Level 40:
To clean up, click on the trash, then the trash can.

Ensenada Tip:

If you buy the drink machine it won't spill.  If you buy the new grill, the fish won't burn.  You can have one of each ready, and just not pick it up until you need it.

Level 41:

Don't serve the crew.  If you leave them to wait, they'll walk off eventually.

Level 42:

The shells are easy to find; just be sure to click on the table after each one.

Level 43:
Clean up these spots:

Level 46:
Pick up the trash.

Level 53:
Unpack the three boxes.

Bonus 28:

The crew will come and take the magazines.  If you have zero of both magazines at the same time, then you lose the challenge.

Level 57:
Deliver the candy to the tables.  No one will request the candy.  Put it on your tray and when you serve a table, it will go to them.

Level 59:
Find the 11 hidden items.

  2. OK nevermind finished also bonus level 30!
But now I got all achievements but I can't get the "12 mice" achievement..do I need to replay many levels to find them all?

  3. Yes, you'll have to keep playing until you have caught mice wearing all 12 costumes. It is random and some are very hard to catch. I've not been able to catch them all yet, either.

    1. Boy don't I know it! I think that was a poor choice for an award, frankly!

  5. I read elsewhere that someone got this award, because figured out that you can pick which mouse you want to show up, they choose the ones got towards the end of the game and got the achievement!
I must be dumb...I really dont understand how choose the mice?

    1. I think I figured it out. Go into the Diamond area where the mice are. Click on any mouse you need. At the bottom it tells you the %age rate it will show up. In other words, a plain mouse might show up a couple of times and then the mouse you clicked on in the Diamond section will appear (depending on the %age rate). The higher the %age rate, the more likely it will show up first. Once I find the mouse and it shows in the bottom right corner of the level I am playing, I leave the level and choose another mouse and play the level again! Good luck!

  6. You'll have to ask the person that says they were able to choose a mouse type, because I haven't been able to. The mice are random, from what the developers said and from what I've found. If you get a secret tip, let me know!

  7. Nothing to do, they dont reply :(
I think I missed 1 mouse only and replied almost all levels, I guess I must give up...

  8. Its true, thanks to Donovansmom for this trick!
In the screen where you can see each mouse, middle icon in the upper right (diamonds), click on the particular mouse you want to appear. Then pick a level and play.
But anyway you must play and replay many times until you will get them all.
I will try after Holidays, I am too tired to play this game over and over ;)
    Merry Christmas :)

    1. The amount you need to earn changes on expert; also, the speed of customers arriving is supposed to increase as well as the game goes on.
