Barbarous - Tavern Of Emyr is a restaurant time management game that plays like the "Welcome to Primrose Lake", or the early Delicious games (before minigames). There is a brief tutorial at the beginning of the first level, and a "how to play" section in the menu.Customers pay for items, and the higher their happiness, the more they pay. Combo bonus points can be earned by checking out more than one customer at a time, by cleaning more than one table in a row, and by serving more than one customer in a row (without doing anything in between).
You will earn an "all clean" bonus if all the tables are cleaned before the last customer is checked out.
If you pick up an item you don't need, you can delete it from your tray by clicking on it on your tray.
There are three difficulty options, located under setting in the menu.
Challenges occur on each level. You do not need to complete the challenges to win the story levels, but will gain diamonds if you do.
Tip: If you find you can't achieve three stars (mugs) when doing the challenge, play the level twice. Once to win the challenge, and a second time ignoring the challenge and just playing to earn three mugs.
A rat appears in every level, and screen shot has been provided for each. He will make a squeaking sound when he arrives, and only stays for a short period of time. He will come back if you don't get him the first time. You will earn extra points each time you find him, and an achievement for finding him on each level.Diamonds are earned for completing each challenge, finding the rat on each level, and for each star earned. They are used to buy decorations for Gwen's room.
Tavern Of EmyrLevel 1
Challenge: Serve 2 customers in a row, 3 times.
Tip: To do this, you do not need to have the complete orders of both customers on your tray before you begin to serve. As long as your serve one item of one order and one of the other, you will get credit.
Note: You will only have 6 customers, so you must serve two at a time each time.
To serve beer, click on the mug. When the meter hand is in the green portion, click again. If you wait too long, it will spill.
Tip: You can walk away from it while it is pouring, as long as you click on it before the hand reaches the red.
Rat location:
Level 2
Challenge: Serve Gwen when she requests soup. Be sure to serve her before the green runs out of the thought buble.
To make the soup, first click the bowl, then the bread.
Rat location:
Level 3
Challenge: Repair the table by clicking on it. You can interrupt him at any time by clicking an itme or a station, just be sure to send him back in between customers.
Some of the soup will be requested with ham now. Click on the ham after clicking on the soup bowl, then continue to the bread.

Challenge: Serve at least two orders in a row, three times.
Tip: To do this, you must have the items for the orders on your tray before serving the first customer.

Challenge: Sell 8 enchanted daggers.
Tip: Daggers are made the same way as beer in the tavern.

Challenge: Emyr needs to drink water every time the exclamation point appears over the bucket. Be sure and click on it before the green runs out of the thought bubble.
To make the drink, click on the glass once or twice, depending on the order, and then on the decanter.

Challenge: Check out more than 1 customer at a time, twice.

Challenge: Read the scroll by clicking on it when the exclamation point appears.

Challenge: Click on Edward when the meter bar appears. If it runs all the way down, you loose the challenge.

Challenge: Don't let O'rho stand still for too long. The timer in the upper right hand corner will show you how long you have until he must move. If the timer runs out, you loose the challenge.
Tip: Send him back and forth to the tables and the register to keep him moving, or if necessary, pick up an unneeded item and delete it from your tray.

Challenge: Speak with the customers that have an exclamation point over their head.
The soup will now need to be restocked by clicking on the large pot.

Soup can have both meat and vegetable now, so check the order carefully.
